Why This Ticket Matters

During Cincinnati’s July 7, 1993 game against the Chicago Cubs, Reds pitcher Tom Browning slipped out of the ballpark and joined fans on a rooftop overlooking Wrigley Field.

Television cameras spotted Browning in uniform during the top of the third inning. He returned to the club and was fined $500 by manager Davey Johnson; Cincinnati went on to win 4–3.

The stunt became one of the most memorable rooftop stories in Wrigley history. This ticket connects the game on the field with the neighborhood vantage point that made the ballpark unique.
