A Monday night loss that closed Joe Namath’s remarkable career.
10/10/1977 Last Game Joe Namath LA Rams
Why This Ticket Matters
On October 10, 1977, Joe Namath made the final appearance of his NFL career, starting for the Los Angeles Rams against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. The Bears rallied to win the Monday night game, 24–23.
Although Namath is inseparable from New York Jets history and the guarantee that preceded Super Bowl III, his last game came during his brief final season with the Rams. This ticket captures that lesser-known closing chapter of one of professional football’s most influential careers.
